Pet Dental Cleaning Clinic

What Pets Can Get it Done? 

This service is for pets with mild to moderate plaque and tarter build up. It is a maintenance cleaning to help pro long the health of your pets oral care. there is no drugs are medications given to pets when getting their teeth cleaned so the if there are any concerns that it may hurt the animal because of the fallowing conditions they will not do the cleaning. If the pet has missing, broken, chipped teeth they may not be able to do get the cleaning. If the dogs teeth are too rotten or in very poor condition they may not be able to do get the cleaning. If there is recession or gum disease they will not be able to do the cleaning. If you are not sure of the condition of your pets oral care you can always sign them up for a dental cleaning and have the vet do an exam. If they can't do the cleaning they do not charge you. If they can not do the cleaning it is advises to go to your regular veterinarian to get your pet teeth cleaned under anesthesia to address the oral health problems your pet may have. 

 

This service can only be done on dogs and cats. It can not be done on pets that are aggressive or that will bite. If it is too stressful for the animal or the animal won't stay calm then they may not be able to do the cleaning. If for some reason they can't do the cleaning they will not charge you.

How is it Done? 

Safe, inexpensive way to keep your pets teeth, gums and breathe healthy. All pets are checked by a vet before they do it. They clean the fronts, backs, inside, and outside. They wrap little dogs in a towel to swaddle and keep them still from wiggling. They have larger dogs lay on the floor with head in the techs lap. A second person can help hold until the dog is calm. They use a foam tool to keep the mouth open called a bite stick. They use scaling tool to remove tater and then brush them to finish it off. It recommend to get your dog’s teeth cleaned ever 6 month to a year depending on the dog and how fast build up gets on their teeth.

When the Clinics are Held?

Clinics are normally every other month on the third Tuesday. Keep your eye on Facebook and website calendar for up coming dates. Normally done in January, March, May, July, September, and November. They are normally here between noon and 3pm. Please be patient if you plan on waiting for your pet while they get done. If this time frame doesn't work We offer drop off as early as 8am and pick ups as late as 5pm for no extra charge. 

How Much Does it Cost?

Only $200.00 per pet for dogs and cats. If they can't do the cleaning because they find a concern then they don't charge you. They take all forms of payment (cash, check, and all major credit cards with $2.00 card fee). There is no senior or military discount

Where are the Clinic Held? 

Teeth clinic clinic are normally held at our location at 610 112th St. E., Tacoma, WA 98445. keep your eye out on our Facebook page of any changes.

Who Does the Cleanings? 

This is a traveling clinic that is done by licensed Washington State veterinarian and vet tech. All pets are examiend by vet before the cleaning starts. 

How long does it take?

They are normally here between noon and 3pm. Please be patient if you plan on waiting for your pet while they get done. It normally take about 20 minutes per dog but there are 3 to 4 dogs arriving at the same check in time as you. If this time frame doesn't work,  we offer drop off as early as 8am and pick ups as late as 5pm for no extra charge. We highly recommend dropping your pet off for the day, as we have limited parking for you to wait.  While your pet is with us they will be by themselves unless they have been to our facility before. Your pet will have regular potty breaks and unlimited access to clean water.

How do we to Sign up?

Please CALL us to get on the sign up sheet. We do a staggered drop off times. This way everyone doesn't show up all at the same time. They are normally here between noon and 3pm. Please be patient if you plan on waiting for your pet while they get done. If this time frame doesn't work We offer drop off as early as 8am and pick ups as late as 5pm for no extra charge
